However, we understand that sometimes a piece may not perfectly suit your space. Our Returns & Exchanges policy is designed with our discerning customers in mind, ensuring a seamless process should you need to return or exchange your purchase.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most of our designer furniture collections, provided the items are in their original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact. Please note:
- All returns require prior authorization
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- Custom or made-to-order pieces cannot be returned (see exceptions below)
Non-Returnable Items
Due to their custom nature, the following items cannot be returned unless defective:
- Made-to-order Chesterfield collections
- Custom fabric selections for sofas and armchairs
- Personalized furniture pieces
- Final sale items (clearly marked at purchase)
Return & Exchange Process
- Initiate Your Request: Contact our design team at [email protected] within 15 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.
- Receive Authorization: We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and, if applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Prepare Your Item: Carefully repackage the furniture in its original packaging, including all protective materials and documentation.
- Ship Your Return: Send the item via a trackable shipping method to our fulfillment center at: Habitat Shop Returns

Exchange Process
For exchanges of eligible items:
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly indicate the replacement item you wish to receive
- Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly
- Standard shipping fees apply for the new item
Refund Information
Upon approval of your return:
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item
- Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Amount: You will receive the full item price minus original shipping costs
Note: Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your premium furniture arrives damaged or defective:

- Include photos of the damage and packaging
- We will arrange for repair, replacement, or return at no cost to you
